FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Hagåtña, Guam) – In partnership with the Guam Running Club, Inadahen i Lina’la’ Kotturan Chamoru, Inc. is proud to host its first ever Gacha’ si Santa 2K/5K Christmas Run, a fundraising event with all proceeds to benefit Sagan Kotturan Chamoru (SKC), a co-operative CHamoru Cultural Center, featuring and hosting a growing community of cultural and traditional practitioners and artisans.
Participants are encouraged to dress up in Christmas-themed gear to try to gacha’ (catch) si Santa, just in time for Christmas! Complete with a costume contest and an Open House Christmas Bazaar at SKC, this year’s Christmas Run promises to be a fun-filled family event.
This is a zero-waste event, sponsored by the Bank of Guam, the Guam Visitors Bureau, and Pacific Grocers.

- Online registration is now available at Eventbrite.com, search “Gacha’ si Santa 2k/5k Christmas Run” with prices starting at $12.24/person (includes Eventbrite fee).
- Register in person at Sagan Kotturan Chamoru, beginning November 16 through November 23, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. (Click here to download our registration form.)
$10/person or $35/team of four - Same day registration is $15/person.
All proceeds to benefit Sagan Kotturan Chamoru.
Checks may be made payable to Inadahen i Lina’la’ Kotturan Chamoru, Inc., a non-profit organization.
